We are a fully licensed and insured professional corporation (PC) with extensive experience in all phases of Architectural Design, Master Planning, Programming, Construction Documentation, Permitting and Construction Administration. dmta ARCHITECTURE was founded in 1999 by Dennis M. Thompson AIA, a registered Architect with over 30 years of professional experience. Dennis had previously been a project architect and manager of firms in Portland, OR and Philadelphia, PA. We purposely maintain a small firm of diverse and energetic staff members with the goal of providing friendly but professional service to our clients. We fully utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) software and use 3-D Building modeling in all phases of our work.

Principal, Dennis M. Thompson AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, BD+C has been a member of the national and local Chapter's of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) since 1988. We fully adhere to AIA established guidelines and principles regarding business practices and ethics. We use AIA documents and contracts with all of our clients, associates and consultants.

In all of our projects, we attempt to suggest a sustainable direction, including the use of local sources for construction materials and using salvaged, sustainable and/or recycled materials whenever possible. The firm's Principal, Dennis M. Thompson is a certified Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional and has worked on several projects targeted for LEED Certification.
