Why Choose DMTA?

DMTA belongs to the American Institute of Architects (AIA), a professional society of architects, established more than 140 years ago as a national organization dedicated to the success of the profession. The AIA works to advance the value of architects and architecture and to increase the living standards of people by improving their built environments. All AIA members adhere to a Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct that assures clients, the public and colleagues of their dedication to high standards in professional practice.

AIA members must meet a higher standard of required Continuing Education units. Registered Architects in Oregon are required to complete 12 hours per year while AIA members must complete 18 hours per year in order to keep their membership in good standing. DMTA has been a member of the AIA since 1988.
